I’ve taught yoga since early 2020, but I’ve always wanted something in addition to the traditional group class dynamic. A way to share yoga that felt more personal to me and my values. “Yoga With B” is my way of providing women who are experiencing migraines and headaches with techniques for relief.

A little more about me

I’m a studying biologist born and raised in northern Colorado. I feel most like myself when I’m out in nature whether that’s hiking, camping, or even wandering around looking for bugs.

I completed my yoga training during my first year of college. I soon fell in love with the softer side of yoga after being diagnosed with chronic migraines in 2021. All of the techniques used in these 1:1 sessions are practices I use myself to help reduce my migraine frequency and severity. I’m passionate about finding and sharing migraine relief and it’s my goal to provide migraine support to other women in the Northern Colorado area.

  • Venmo and cash are accepted.

  • No, you do not need to experience migraines to schedule a 1:1 session. If you are looking for another way to reduce your stress and anxiety then this is still perfect for you.

  • A typical session will start with targeted myofascial release followed by breath work, restorative yoga postures, and end with a guided meditation. This is a general outline of what you can expect, but the 1:1 will be designed specifically around you and your needs.

  • These are my credentials.

    CYT 200 = Certified Yoga Teacher, 200 hours. In other words, I completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training.

    CE Yin 40 = Continuing Education, 40-hour Yin certification. In other words, I have completed a 40-hour Yin-specific training, during which I learned some of my knowledge of myofascial release.

  • Fascia is a connective tissue that wraps around our whole bodies. “Myofascial release” involves stretches, movements, and manual work designed to target our muscular fascia and relieve deep muscular tension.
